All accepted abstracts will be available in an online supplement of the Annals of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AOEM).
Abstract Revisions: If you wish to make changes to the abstract based on the reviewers' evaluations, you can do so until September 30, 2023. After that date, modifications will not be possible.
Instructions for Oral Presenters
Presentation Requirements
Each oral presenter will be given a time slot of 15 minutes in total, which is distributed as 12 minutes of presentation and 3 minutes of answering questions from the audiences. Given the tight schedule for presentation sessions, it is crucial that all presenters are well-prepared and punctual for their scheduled presentations.
Please note your presentation should be purely scientific and no company names or products should be mentioned.
All presentations MUST include a disclosure of any conflicts of interest on the second slide.
Technical Requirements
Prepare your presentation in PowerPoint or PDF, in 16:9 ratio. Include the title of your presentation, as it appears in the final program, on your first slide.
Videos must be embedded in PowerPoint. Do not use links to YouTube or other webservices in your presentations.
To use MAC presentations on the PC compatible conference computer, please note that you need to prepare it according to the instructions below, before taking it to the speaker room: a) Convert it to PowerPoint or PDF. b) Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. c) Insert the images as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT – these images may not be visible on a PowerPoint based PC).
Upload Your Presentations
Upload your presentation via following link by Monday, November 21, 2023: Upload Link
Save the file as following format: [Session no.]_[Presenter’s name]. e.g., Oral 5_Gildong Hong.pdf / Symposium 3_Dongmug Kang.ppt
Onsite Preparation
There will be a “Speaker Preparation Room” (Room 318) at the venue with staff who will answer questions you might have and provide service and help with uploading your presentation file when needed.
Please note that your final version and changes must be done at the latest 2 hours in advance to your presentation. Oral presenters in morning sessions are strongly advised to upload their presentation the day before.
To make sure presentations run smoothly during the sessions you are expected to use the computer provided by ACOH 2023 while giving your presentation.
During your session, please sit close to the stage for easy access to the stage. Once the session starts, you will be introduced by the Session Chair and the AV team will place your presentation on screen.
If there is an unavoidable cancellation of a presentation during the session, it will be replaced by the next presentation. So, please make sure to be present throughout the session.
Instructions for Poster Presenters
POSTER PREPARATION
Poster Size: Each poster presenter will be provided with a 950 mm width x 2,400 mm height poster board. The recommended poster size is ISO A0 format, portrait oriented, 841 mm width x 1189 mm height.
Presenter Presence: We encourage poster authors to be present by their posters during the designated poster session, allowing you to present your work and address questions from delegates and referees.
Poster Printing Service: If you encounter difficulties with printing and transporting your posters, the congress secretariat can assist with printing. Please prepare your poster file in PDF format, ensuring it fits the recommended size, and send it to acoh2023@gmail.com by Friday, November 17, 2023. (Posters received after this date may not be printed in time). Kindly note that this service incurs a cost of KRW 30,000 per poster, payable at the on-site registration desk.
POSTER MOUNTING AND REMOVAL
Organizers will provide the necessary materials to affix your poster, and on-site assistance will be available to help you with its display.
Each poster board will be assigned a specific number. Please make sure to mount your poster on the board with the corresponding number for your presentation. Your poster number will be listed in the program book and on the congress website.
- Mounting: Thursday, November 23, 2023, from 08:00 to 10:00.
- Removal: Thursday, November 23, 2023, from 16:00 to 18:00.
- Mounting: Friday, November 24, 2023, from 08:00 to 10:00.
- Removal: Friday, November 24, 2023, from 16:00 to 18:00.
Please ensure that you remove your poster during the specified hours mentioned above. Posters left behind will be automatically removed and disposed of.
BEST STUDENT POSTER PRESENTATION AWARD
The Best Student Posters will be selected by the referees during the Poster Sessions. Awardees will be announced at the closing ceremony on November 25, 2023, from 11:40 to 12:00.
